Your healthy weight depends mostly on your height. This guide gives you the BMI-based weight range for every height from 5'0" (152 cm) to 6'4" (193 cm), separately for men and women, plus context on why the ranges are wide.
How the chart is built
Healthy weight range = BMI 18.5β24.9 multiplied by heightΒ² (in meters). Anything in that range is statistically associated with the lowest risk of weight-related disease for adults 20β64.
Women: healthy weight by height

Why the range is so wide
Across a single height, a healthy weight spans roughly 15 kg / 33 lb because BMI 18.5 and 24.9 are both 'normal'. Body composition (muscle vs fat), bone density and frame size decide where in the range you sit.
When BMI misleads
Muscular athletes routinely exceed BMI 25 with single-digit body-fat percentages. Older adults sometimes fall below BMI 22 with sarcopenia. Always combine BMI with waist circumference: under 94 cm (men) / 80 cm (women) is the low-risk zone.
